Economic Empowerment is as important to a Person with Disability as to a person not affected with disability; in-fact it is much more. It’s an assumption and myth that they are dependent and cannot be productive members of the community. Given an opportunity they want to work and prove their capability. Persons with Disabilities too want to earn a livelihood to meet their basic needs, enjoy social contacts and meet people and economic employment builds confidence and positive attitudes.
