New Business – Disposable Plates and Bowls
NEDAR came to acquire a Machine to manufacture disposable bowls and plates ( Dona , Pathal) from Udaan an NGO and reached out to members who had space and would be interested in setting up the business.
Anil came forward and decided that he could start the business after doing market survey.
He also found a dealer who would buy finished products and help in acquiring raw material.
Anil started his business “ Vaibhav Enterprise on 18th June 2019.
New Business – Kwality Walls Ice Cream Cart Vendor
Mr. Hemant Kumar Yadav lost his speech due to an accident and lost all confidence. He was working as a security guard before he came to know about ATPAR and EDP training. Mr. Hemant Kumar decided to do the EDP training , which resulted in him looking at business as an option. Information about registration for getting Kwality Walls carts for Divyangjan at NCSC , Karkardooma was shared by ATPAR on NEDAR what’s app group.
Mr. Hemant Kumar attended the event and got his name registered to become an Ice Cream Vendor. A special scheme for Divyangjan by Hindustan Uni-lever , whereby ice cream tricycle is provided free of cost along with products at subsidized rates has helped many Divyang become ice cream sellers. Mr. Hemant’s application was approved and in January 2020 he became a proud entrepreneur.
Mr. Hemant has encouraged other NEDAR members to apply under the scheme and soon we will have many ice cream vendors in the group.
New Business : Common Service Center (CSC)
The Governments DIGITAL E-SEWA Program has opportunity for persons with disabilities to become Village Level Entrepreneurs ( VLE) and run CSC – Common service Centers.
Various services are being provided to the people by Common Services Centers (CSCs) in India. The CSC are now available in various places in a District around the country. The services i.e. G2C (Government to Consumer), B2C (Business to Consumer) and B2B (Business to Business) are successfully provided by Common Service Centers in India.
Various Government Services like Birth/ Death Certificate, Forms Download and Submission, Property Tax and Registration, Bus Pass, Railway Ticket, Passport , Licenses, Permit , Subsidies etc. are provided by CSC centers at one place for convenience of citizens.
Running a CSC is a wonderful opportunity for Divyangjan who are computer literate and have a computer and printer.
