Entrepreneurship Development Program

ATPAR conducts Trainings on Entrepreneurship Development in partnership with NIESBUD/NSIC/ NCSC and other Government ,Corporate, NGO or Institutional Partners for entrepreneurs in start-up phase and provides  mentoring and other support to enable them to operate their businesses efficiently and sustainably.

Course details of current course

      Entrepreneurship Development Program (Certified Course by NSIC)

a) Duration: 15 days 

b) Eligibility: Persons with Disabilities who are  Age 18+  Family members of persons with Disability  / NGO members 

c) Medium of instruction both Hindi and English Objectives: .This training apart from giving basic information on setting up and running a business , would address the following Challenges –

•       Lack of knowledge of running their enterprise more efficiently

•       Currently not financially Included or able to get  loans

•       Seeking  Market linkages & ideas to increase sales

•       Not able to access mainstream professional support due to lack of resources / connects and opportunities

•       Lack of knowledge on Government Schemes supporting entrepreneurship

EDP training in the community

In March 2020 , NSIC certified Entrepreneurship Development Program Training was held in East Delhi in collaboration with Manovikas Charitable Society as Venue partners.

Bringing EDP training to the community makes it accessible to a larger number of Persons with Disability.

25  candidates ( Batch 12 ) from East Delhi completed the course successfully.

New business opportunity with Bharat Jal ( R.O. Water dispensing Unit on E- Rickshaw ) was introduced.

A visit to the Incubation Centre at NSIC, Okhla was organized as part of training to expose the candidates to various business machinery and business ideas.
