  • ATPAR as an Advisor  to NHFDC Foundation ATPAR supported them toconceptualised the Exhibition ‘EKAM FEST’ to bring together artisans and entrepreneurs with disabilities to participate from across the country in this grand event organised in Delhi from 2nd to 9th March 2020

EKAM FEST -Unique initiative of NHFDC Foundation to promote craftmanship and products of Divyang Entrepreneurs was a wonderful platform for NEDAR members to interact with fellow entrepreneurs.

*80 Stalls in all ; five were allotted to NEDAR entrepreneurs free of cost

*Inaugurated by Mr. Nitin Gadkari – Min. for Road Transport & Highways and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

*Guest of Honor: Smt Smriti Irani – Min. for Women & Child Development & Textiles;

*Presided by: Dr. Thawarchand Gehlot, Min of Social Justice & Empowerment; In presence of Mr. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Min of State for MSJE

*Ms. Shakuntala Gamlin, Secy, DEPWD, GoI visited our stalls and was explained about NEDAR and the work done by the entrepreneurs

*Ms. Smriti Irani visited stalls of our members, got interested in the work done in the textile space and was explained about NEDAR. She has promised to provide Artisan ID Cards to PwDArtisans

NSDC & IDEA -DIVYA KAUSHAL

ATPAR was knowledge Partner at DIVYA KAUSHAL National Job Fair and Ability Expo organised by NSDC and IDEA on 2nd& 3rd December 2019.

Working with NSIC

ATPAR has been working with National Small Industries Corporation – NSIC since 2017.

ATPAR in collaboration with NSIC has trained more than 200 candidates to date in Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) .

NSIC Opened up the incubation Centre at Okhla Industrial Estate , NSIC campus to conduct EDP Training for Persons with Disabilities.

Each batch has around 20 students mobilised by ATPAR . So far 12 batches have undergone training.

  • Sensitised NSIC for infrastructural changes and procured 6 wheelchairs
  • Changes in admission criteria from 10th to accepting just a ‘literate’
  • Helped design and customise EDP training to address how to run micro and nano businesses.
  • Post NEDAR launch, where NSIC’s Center Head was also one of the Dignitaries to launch NEDAR, NSIC has been more than forthcoming to support all the initiatives of NEDAR
  • NEDAR meetings are often held at NSIC  auditorium or class room.
  •  In 2019 NSIC  reduced the fees for EDP training from Rs.3540 to Rs.590
  • NSIC has actively nominated NEDAR members to National Entrepreneurship Award 2019
  • NSIC now conducting Certified  EDP training in the Community . EDP Batch 12 – March 2020 was the First Batch in the community , conducted at the campus of Manovikas Charitable Society in East Delhi .
