ATPAR got in touch with MSME ( Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises ) after it came across a news paper clip on the
6th India International Start up Expo & Summit 2019 held on August 2019.
With just 10 days to the Expo , the founders started a dialogue with the organisers and convinced them to allot 10 stalls to entrepreneurs with disabilities on equal footing with other entrepreneurs.
NEDAR members got their businesses registered under MSME , and got UDYOG ADHAR Cards.
Participation in the EXPO by NEDAR members for the first time opened up a world of possibilities. They got business contacts , they got to see other successfully run Start Ups, they got to exchange ideas with fellow entrepreneurs.
The Expo gave an opportunity for different Ministries some of them being MSME, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , Ministry of Labour and employment to engage with entrepreneurs and experience first-hand the ability of these entrepreneurs to be contributing members of society.
